Well hello there! Happy Power Metal Friday and welcome to the new, improved and polished version of the Triolith Entertainment Homepage! The homepage has actually been up for quite a while already, but we wanted to take our time and work out the final kinks before officially calling it launched.
Now, surely we haven’t had so much time on our hands that we’ve also spent it on constructing an improved site, have we? No. We aren’t web designers (as was probably blatantly obvious with our old site) so we turned to some people who were. They go by the name of Davelo, and would you LOOK at this place! It’s got structure, style, formatting, the WORKS! We’re very pleased with what they have accomplished! Thank you, Davelo!
That’s not all, though.
Our local newspaper also ran a full page article on our company! Our CEO Magnus talks about what it’s like to start a new game development studio, the challenges of breaking into the smartphone gaming market, and a short eulogy of things transpired and lessons learned. You can read the the whole article here, if you’re Swedish enough.
Also, as part of this new website launch, we have promised ourselves to be a lot more active when it comes to Facebook, Twitter and blogging. For starters, we have decided that our blog will be updated every Thursday. Exact time is.. afternoon-ish.
A lot of our talking will most likely revolve around MEGATROID, our next game that we are currently toiling away at. Everyone at Triolith, myself included, believe that MEGATROID will be a game of great significance to the smartphone gaming market. No, I’m serious, I really do believe we are working on something great. In both senses of the word.
You see, MEGATROID is big. Bigger than we ever thought it would be, and we’re not even done with it yet. This is of course great news for you guys, because that means that when the game does hit the appstores, it’ll be one heck of a game! We are planning on releasing an announcement trailer in the coming weeks, but until then, I can’t give you much more info than that.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go back to my spread-sheet of weapon and armor statistics (DPS-tuning is fun, kids!) and I’ll see You next Thursday!
Have a nice weekend!
