Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend filled with whatever awesomeness you guys do. I've spent most of my weekend writing and putting together material from Nordic Game Conference. I've got so much material to go through to the point where I've decided that I need to make an extra blog post this week to cover everything.
That's why there is a Deux in the title!
In between lectures I try to talk to as many people as humanely possible. I've attended the event as media and I always take my job seriously. That is till I got a stressball from the Nith booth. Nith is a private school in Norway that focuses on technology. They educate 3D artists, game designers and game programmers so it's always fun to hear that Norway has decided to join the gamingfun! This is where I got a pink stress ball by the way. Throughout the rest of the day I was asking people to squeeze my ball. That is, my friends, the peak of journalistic professionalism that I've mentioned earlier.
I was talking to a young lady handling the booth, we chitchatted for a while and then I had to run to the next lecture. (more...)
First I'd like to appologize for my delayed blogpost! I have something very special for you however.
Today I will tell you about my first day at the Nordic Game Conference!
The story starts bright and early..
I arrive at Malmoe Station around 8 in the morning. I call Magnus to let him know that I've arrived. He was still eating breakfast so I tried to make my way to his hotel. What he didn't tell me is the correct name of the hotel. So to me he lived in an "invisible hotel". (more...)
Today we at Triolith Entertainment have a treat for you guys! We actually have a guest blogging for us instead. We introduce to you a guy with a thicker hair growth then any known animal. The man with a great voice and only uses it to make Arnold Schwarzenegger impressions, the man who is bigger in size then a small Fiat. Ladies and gentlemen. I give you the guy that makes the word DAAH mean anything, mr Joe Betancourt!

So how are we doing over at the office? How's development on MEGATROID? Well, let me tell you, it's hectic. We are putting together all the loose ends, touching up the flaws and getting this behemoth of a project ready to be played by... well, You.
We cannot with certainty reveal any release dates as of yet, but rest assured that the game is under way and close to the finish line.
What I can say is that we've made the decision to release the game with only Chapter 1 (we earlier wanted to include Chapter 2). The decision was made based on the fact that we have time to spare after having Chapter 1 done, but not enough time to finish Chapter 2 in time for the big release. Hence; we chose to focus on getting Chapter 1 not only done, but also a lot more polished than previously planned, rather than including a rushed Chapter 2. Chapter 1 will contain Character Levels 1-10 (estimated roughly 3-4 hours of gameplay).
Bonus! We just got an XPERIA Play in the office, and we've gotten the basic buttons to work! It's amazing!
Back to work! Don't forget to check out the comic!
