It's been quite silent from our end, hasn't it? Well, do not be alarmed, it's just us being busy! It is now time for us to once again break the silence and bring you some news! First off, let's talk about the two (!) new games we will be releasing shortly for Apple iOS and Google Android!
The boys are cooking up something special for next week, so in the mean-time, let's talk 'bout business, shall we?
There are a lot of debates of late about running your own business. New innovations creating a new job market that benefit a growing generation. My generation in particular remembers the IT bubble bursting, taking a lot of businesses with them. To not repeat those mistakes, many business owners have taken several precautions. We currently have a healthy and growing video games market in Sweden. To which will generate many more jobs in the near future!
Well-met fellow internet travelers!
It’s not very often that someone else except Marcus or Anna posts on the Triolith Entertainment blog but today I’m back and I’m here to talk about the future of MEGATROID.
Yesterday we released the second chapter of MEGATROID on Google Play and the App Store. If you haven’t got your hands on the update I can’t urge you enough to download and try it! We’ve made some major changes and added a lot of new content!
It's been a while since one of us developers opened our mouths and minds to You, dear reader. Yesterday, we announced the release date for the next chapter in MEGATROID, Chapter 2, via Facebook and other channels. Today I am announcing it here along another thing: the MEGATROID Official Soundtrack!
Hello, followers of Triolith Entertainment! While the development squad crunches to give you Chapter 2 of MEGATROID, I'll let you in on some thoughts I have regarding a certain time in history when the mobile market was very different.
I have always had a soft spot for underdogs. Unlike many kids today, I didn’t get my first cellphone until I was 19. Back then the only game you could play was either snake or Battleship. You know what I'm talking about: the age of Nokia phones!
Hello, it's me, Anna! Today I will share my opinions on storytelling in games!
When I was a child, videogames were a rarity. To even own a console was something that maybe one kid in your class owned. We've just received our first computer in school when the NES was released. Thinking back, I could never imagine for us to be able to play games on a portable device. The graphics are even better. To understand what we had to put up with back then, just look at an old Zelda commercial with "Superior graphics!". (more...)
Good day, everyone!
I’ll get the most important news out of the way first: MEGATROID launches worldwide on August 1!
Now that you know that, let’s talk about consoles. Specifically, let’s talk about one that doesn’t yet exist on the market, but has the possibility to become a haven of creativity and experimental gameplay: The OUYA.
Good day everyone! How are you all enjoying the summer?
It's been quite a while since one of us developers made an appearance here on the blog but it's with good reason. We have been working our asses off to finish MEGATROID. We've had all kinds of issues, both small and big, that have added up to quite a delay in production. More on that in a bit. (more...)
Now that I have your attention, hello!
Tomorrow is Midsummers eve, which is a pagan ritual that was introduced to us by Germany around 1300. Now that we've established where it originated, let me tell you a bit about it.
Each year, us Swedes are invited or hosting a Midsummer party. Now when it comes to our particular crew, partying always means drinking to the point of nonexistence. However, tradition calls for us to dress up an upside down phallus that is dug into the earth in flowers. It's a symbol for fertility and it is commonly known where most people plant a bun in the oven. There is alcohol involved, so females are more willing to actually breed with the a typical Swedish Midsummer male.
I mean seriously, would you spread your legs for this if you were sober? I thought so.. (more...)
